Joining clauses with IF and WHEN

1. I usually take medicine if I have a fever.

1.1 well.... if I have a fever, I prefer not to take medicine.

2. when I get a stomachache , I sometime stay in bed.

2.2 I never stay in bed when I get a stomachache.

3. when my sister has a cough, she never goes to the doctor.

3.3 but ..... I always go to the doctor when I have a cough.

4. If I feel sick, I lie down a while.

4.4 I lie down a while if I feel sick.

5. Estevan doesn´t drink hot tea with honey when he has a sore throat.

5.5 When I have a sore throat, I drink hot tea with honey.

6. when I have a headache, I take aspirin.

6.6 I take aspirin when I have a headache.
